RELAX, EXPLORE & ENJOY
For our guests aged 60 and over, our High Country Tours run weekly from mid-October until early December, and from mid-March until mid-May. Our packages offer an outstanding itinerary for groups of up to 25 guests and with over 20 years experience in the area, Andy and Sarah will ensure you enjoy a memorable experience, highlighted with local knowledge and insights.
During your tour, you will visit historic early gold towns such as Yackandandah and Beechworth; tourist towns including Bright, Harrietville and Myrtleford; the Alpine village of Falls Creek; and of course - our personal favourite - the wonderful little town of Mount Beauty.
Visit attractions such as the Bandianna Army Museum, the Bonegilla Migrant Experience and Cattlemen's Huts; enjoy historic tours
- including the story of Ned Kelly; explore museums and art galleries; indulge in our local bakeries and restaurants; and be blown away at scenic lookouts and views.
Enjoy the autumn colours the region is famous for in autumn, and gorgeous spring blossoms later in the year. Take in all the sights, discover hidden gems, sample local produce and experience everything our unique region has to offer.
The lodge is also the perfect place to kick back and relax, with stunning views of Mt Bogong from the expansive deck, and a shared lounge and dining area with a cosy wood fire and licensed bar. We even have an inground pool for the warmer months.
Whether you’d like to book a tour with friends, or come on your own and make new friends here - everyone is welcome at the lodge!
